Cause Description

Sagun Social Organization  Nepal has improved the drinking water of thousands of people in its project areas. High quality, safe and sufficient drinking water is essential for public health and well-being. Besides consumption, we also use it for many other purposes, such as washing, cleaning, hygiene, or watering our plants.

Although much progress has been made in the country in respect of drinking water supply to public with almost every village units connected with potable drinking water supply system, there are still some pockets where the citizens are deprived of this basic need. In such places, females, who are burdened with the onerous job of running the household, have to tread couple of kilometers to fetch just a pot of water.

Lack of clean drinking water and a stable water supply is a major challenge in many Nepalese villages. The project aims to establish a sustainable water supply network for three villages, ensuring clean drinking water for approximately 420 families.
