Reactive Project
Sagun Social Organization’s team on site had been coordinating groups of local and residential supporters/volunteers to assist the needy people in Nepal. We supported Catholic Relief Services with emergency supplies after the earthquake in Nepal, providing emergency shelter, food, water, school material and clothing. We have been working for the last 13 years, at Dolakha, Ramechhap, Sindhupalchok , Nuwakot and Sindhuli demolishing unsafe buildings. We began to look into the possibility of rebuilding these buildings in order for people to have a home. We are also working with various partners to build temporary earthquake shelters and learning centers.
Note: We publicise our projects and your contributions for the villages using a grading system of 10 points, with our highest grade of 10 being most impactful to the beneficiaries and continuous support to Sagun Social Organization.
